Clue® PINPOS is a unique product range that offers two integrated point-of-sale (POS) AND Chip and PIN handheld payment devices:
- PINPOSTM
A fully certified mobile point-of-sale and Chip and PIN device with integrated Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, optional GPRS and optional barcode reader. - PINPOSTM TeamPad
A fully certified mobile point-of-sale and Chip and PIN device with integrated thermal printer, barcode reader, and optional Wi-Fi, GPRS and Bluetooth modules.
In both cases, one side of the device provides the point-of-sale interface and the other side provides the Chip and PIN payment functionality. Clue® PINPOS enables you to literally take the point of sale and the payment method to the customer, whilst giving you and your customers the security of using a certified Chip and PIN solution.
The Clue® PINPOS solution has grown from our powerful and comprehensive solution for end-to-end inflight sales management, Clue® Trader, which integrates Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS) hardware and software with Head Office and Warehouse systems. During early 2004 we started to develop fully mobile Chip and PIN and point-of-sale devices; we had to provide a solution to enable cabin crew to accept Chip and PIN payment from every passenger, even those sat in window seats. Trailing wires across other passengers wasn't an option!
